JAMMU, Apr 1: JKPCC Chief Spokesperson Ravinder Sharma said that the historic declaration made by Congress President Rahul Gandhi “Minimum Income Guarantee Scheme” (NYAY) to poor citizen, if Congress is voted to power, would bring revolution for the poor in the Country.
He said that as per this scheme poorest 20 per cent of families in the country will be guaranteed Rs 72,000 a year and this Rs 72,000 will be deposited directly in the bank accounts of the woman head of the family. More than 5 crore families will be benefited by this historic step.
Sharma said that this announcement will be implemented with full commitment as done earlier in the case of farm loan waiver in States like Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh.
Interacting with media personnel and addressing series of meetings at Nowshera (Rajouri), Ravinder Sharma said that the difference between Modi led BJP and Rahul led Congress is quite clear that BJP serves the interests of rich and Congress serves the interests of farmers, poor and downtrodden sections of the society.
