JAMMU, Apr 1: Dogra Brahman Pratinidhi Sabha (DBPS) today organized function in connection with disbursement of financial aid among widows and handicap females registered with DBPS.
An amount of Rs 3600 per person was disbursed by the chief guest Chander Mohan Sharma Member Human Right Commission alongwith Ved Parkash Sharma President of Dogra Brahman Pratinidhi Sabha Rs 147600 were disbursed among needy persons.
While speaking on the occasion, several speakers stressed upon the participants to be in touch with the sabha so that their grievances may be mitigated. The programme conducted by Chairman Satyanand Sharma.
Among other who were present on the occasion including Verinder Mohan Magotra, Nanak Chand Sharma, ML Sharma Advocate, Subash Shastri, Shiv Ram Sharma, Romesh Sharma, Sat Pal Khajuria, Sat Pal Sharma, Gurdas Sharma, Girdhari Lal Sharma, Raman Sharma, Jia Lal Sharma, Shanti Saroop Baru, Vijay Sharma, BB Seth, Bhopal Dutta, Des Raj and several others.
They also appealed to the people of all walks of life to participate in the upcoming Bhagwan Parshuram Jayanti Mohatasav beginning on May 4, 2019 at 4 pm in Chankaya Chowk with Shoba Yatra and seek the blessings of Bhagwan Parshuram.
