JAMMU, Oct 1: Welfare Committee Sharda Colony, Patoli Brahmana has expressed concern over dilapidated condition of road from Barnai bridge to Patoli Brahmana and urged the authorities of PWD to start the renovation work of the same on war footing basis.
The president of the Committee said that the people are facing many hardships due to worst condition of the road which has developed ditches and holes at various places and can also lead to accidents.
They said though many times the representations were given to concerned authorities they failed to renovate this road which needs immediate repairs and blacktopping.
The Committee also demanded utilization of overhead water reservoir tank at Patoli Talab for water supply in the area which has been constructed two years back by the PHE Department. It said people in the area are facing water scarcity and by utilizing the tank for water supply the problem could be solved to a great extent. The meeting sought immediate intervention of PHE CE in the matter.
