Sham Lal urges people to join ‘Kailakh Karuna Abhiyan’

JAMMU, May 24: Former Minister Sham Lal Sharma today promoted ‘Kailakh Karuna Abhiyan’ launched by Shri Kailakh Jyotish Avim Vedic Sansthan Trust and urged the people to be part of this noble initiative.
The ‘Kailakh Karuna Abhiyan’ was launched by Shri Kailakh Jyotish Avim Vedic Sansthan Trust a few days back when Trust members and students of Ved Mandir took the ‘sankalp’ of giving 10,000 bowls, Shri Bhagvad Gita and Ramayana distributed freely to the people under the ‘Kailakh Karuna Abhiyan’.
In this connection, the Trust today organized a program at Ved Mandir Amphalla in which Sham Lal Sharma reached as chief guest, Abhinav Sharma (president, Bar Association Jammu) as guest of honor and Dr Shiv Parsad Raina as special guest.
Speaking on the occasion, Sham Lal Sharma said that the path of truth is too difficult. He stressed on teaching our ancient language i.e. Sanskrit to our children. Praising the Trust president Mahant Rohit Shastri for launching ‘Kailakh Karuna Abhiyan’, Sharma said taking such an initiative of feeding birds is really praiseworthy. He also suggested the local community to become a part of this initiative. The former Minister also assured all kind of help to the students of Ved Mandir.
Abhinav Sharma also requested the people to be part of this initiative and quenched the thirst of birds by hanging bowls in their gardens, balcony and your nearby places where you think it’s suitable for them to drink water.
In the end, social workers Sunil Sharma and Parveen Sharma distributed stationery and some eating items to the students.
Prominent among others present on the occasion were Dr Shiv Parsad Raina (president, State BJP Kisan Morcha), Rajinder Singh, Rajesh Gandotra, Surinder Singh Gilli, Gurudass Sharma, Corporator Dr Akshay Sharma and members of management committee of Ved Mandir.
