KISHTWAR, May 21: Aimed towards strengthening road infrastructure and improving connectivity in the region, MLA Kishtwar Shagun Parihar today formally inaugurated and commenced the blacktopping work of the road stretch from Hasti to Kurya Bridge.
The work was started in the presence of officials from the National Highways and Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited (NHIDCL) and prominent local residents.
During her visit, she interacted with NHIDCL officials regarding the quality, execution and timely completion of the project.
Parihar emphasized that improving road connectivity in rural and far-flung areas will be my one of the foremost priorities, as better roads are directly linked with economic growth, public convenience and overall regional development.
She stated that the blacktopping of the Hasti–Kurya Bridge Road will provide major relief to commuters and significantly enhance transportation facilities for the local population.
The MLA remarked that the project will benefit students, farmers, traders and daily commuters by ensuring smoother and safer travel connectivity.
While reaffirming her dedication towards inclusive and sustainable development, Parihar assured the people that several more developmental initiatives aimed at strengthening infrastructure and public amenities are being actively pursued throughout the constituency.
