JAMMU, Feb 16: The former MoS of Health and Family Welfare, Shabir Ahmed Khan who has got interim bail by the court after serious allegations were leveled against him by a lady doctor in Kashmir Valley recently, attended the Assembly for the first time since its Budget Session started on February 10.
Khan, who represents the Rajouri Assembly segment came during the second sitting of the House at 4.40 pm and remained their up to 5 pm and later went to Speaker’s chamber.
It may be recalled Shabir Khan was stripped off Health Minister’s portfolio following the allegation leveled against him by a lady doctor. An FIR was also registered against him in a police Station in Kashmir Valley and later the court granted interim bail to him.
