RAJOURI, Oct 20: A 4-year-old girl was sexually assaulted by her 16-year-old cousin at Hubbi village in Kotranka tehsil of Rajouri district.
A police spokesman said that the girl was allegedly rapped by her cousin when the victim- daughter of Zakir resident of Hubbi had gone to the house of her uncle Mohd Yousuf yesterday. The boy-Showkat Ali, son of Mohd Yousuf lured the girl and committed sexual assault on her. The accused then fled after the girl’s condition turned serious. The parents of the girl then lodged an FIR with Kotranka police which arrested the boy today. The girl was sent for Medical examination and treatment to the district hospital.
