Several join Congress party

JAMMU, Nov 6: Activists from different political parties and organizations today joined Congress during a function of Minority Department of JKPCC, held here today at PCC HQ Shaheedi Chowk Jammu, under the guidance of S Gurdarshan Singh, Vice Chairman Minority Cell while former Minister and Vice President JKPCC, Raman Bhalla presided over the function.
Speaking on the occasion, Raman Bhalla said that due to wrong policies of BJP led Govt at the Centre, the people of all walks of life are facing great hardships in every sphere of life. “Consistent protests by Congress and others opposition parties across the country compelled the Modi Govt to cut excise duty on petrol and diesel but it is just the beginning,” he added.
The new entrants in the Congress party included Satnam Singh, Sham Lal Gill, Humayun Paul, Gurinder Singh, Vinod Sotra, Faisl Paul, Paramveer Singh Sachin Sawar, Bilal Ahmad, Amandeep Singh, Eamuel Sotra, Mohib Din, Karamjeet Singh, Kaku Gill, Amir Mir and Ajit Singh and others.
Michael Wazir, Nassir Masih, Balwinder Singh Rinku, Gafoor Masih, Titus Gill and Gurmeet Singh were also present on the occasion.
