JAMMU, Apr 2: Several organizations and individuals made donations in favour of PM Cares Fund or J&K Relief Fund to support the Government to fight against Novel Coronavirus.
Krishak Bharati Cooperative Limited (KBCL), a premier fertilizer cooperative organization, led by its Chairman Dr Chandra Pal Singh and Managing Director, Rajan Chowdhry contributed Rs 2 crore in PM Cares Fund.
On behalf of Trustees of the Dharmarth Trust, J&K, Dr Karan Singh, Chairman Trustee made a donation of Rs 11 lakh towards J&K Relief Fund.
KC Raju Chowdhary Group, a leading business house of J&K which has its presence in various fields such as education, hospitality, industry and automobiles, donated a sum of Rs 3 lakh towards J&K Relief Fund.
Members of Assocham J&K-Manik Batra, Davinder Batra, Bhisham Batra, Dr M A Alim, Sunil Gupta, Rakesh Dogra, Atul Sharma, Sanjay Gupta and Vivek Bhardwaj contributed a total sum of Rs 2.5 lakh towards the J&K Relief Fund.
Former Principal, School of Nursing, Gandhi Nagar, Ratna Devi, who is a resident of Krishan Kunj, Rehari Colony, Jammu, donated an amount of Rs 50,000 from her savings to PM Cares Fund.
BK Koul, a resident of Surya Vihar, Bohri (Jammu) also contributed a sum of Rs 10,000 towards PM Cares Fund.
