UDHAMPUR, May 8: A police patrolling party led by Inspector Pushpinder Singh, SHO Police Station Basantgarh today intercepted and rescued seven bovine animals at upper ridges of Shiv Gali.
The entire operation was held under the supervision of Dr. Bhishm Dubey, SDPO Ramnagar after getting tip that bovine animals were taken on foot by two smugglers separately towards Kashmir without any valid permission.
In this connection, a case under relevant sections of law has been registered at Police Station Basantgarh and investigation started.
