JAMMU, Oct 20: J&K BJP vice president, Yudhvir Sethi today asked the youth of Jammu and Kashmir to avail benefits of the Central sponsored scheme to become job creators instead of job seekers.
While inaugurating mobile accessories showroom titled ‘Gourav Enterprises’ at Malhotra Mohalla, Lakhdatta Bazaar here, Sethi said that Jammu and Kashmir is becoming self-sufficient Union Territory in all respects.
Sethi said that Central Government working under the guidance of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi has launched numerous schemes for the welfare of people as well as youth of the nation. “There have been numerous stories of successful young entrepreneurs from J&K. However, a majority of the youth population still sees Government jobs as the ideal career,” he said.
Sethi urged the students and the youth to explore the unlimited prospects for entrepreneurship in sectors such as tourism, hospitality, agri-business, and several others areas. He added that Prime Minister has initiated several schemes with an aim to foster entrepreneurship in the country with special focus on youth.
While congratulating proprietor of ‘Gourav Enterprises’, Sethi said that quality and genuine products always attract potential customers and the showroom will make good business. He said that quality is very important in the electronics sector and this showroom will provide quality and genuine products to its customers.
