JAMMU, Apr 23: To listen the grievances of local residents and ensure prompt redressal of issues, Yudhvir Sethi, MLA Jammu East, held a public darbar here today.
A large number of people from different parts of the constituency attended the darbar and raised concerns related to water supply, road maintenance, sanitation, drainage and other civic amenities.
The MLA patiently heard each complaint and assured the public that their issues would be taken up with the concerned departments on priority.
During the interaction, Sethi emphasized the importance of direct communication between elected representatives and citizens.
“Public darbars serve as an effective platform to understand ground-level problems and ensure transparency in governance,” he said.
Sethi further directed party workers and officials present on the occasion to maintain proper records of complaints and follow up with the respective departments for timely resolution.
He reiterated his commitment to the overall development of Jammu East and improving the quality of life for its residents.
Several local BJP leaders and workers were also present at the darbar and assisted in addressing public grievances.
