Set-up specialised bone hospital for road accident victims: Singh

JAMMU, May 21:   Former Minister Thakur Randhir Singh, NCP State chief  has condemned the State Government for all the serious lapses which have become a daily routine, because in serious road accidents many precious lives are lost in particularly in the Chenab basin area.
Addressing a press conference, Singh has suggested to the State Chief Minister to overhaul the dual police system in the State with Traffic police with blue uniform and district police.
The State NCP passed a condolence resolution in the memory of all those who were killed in accident and demanded relief and treatment to the injured on Government expenses and strict action against police agency which is responsible for these human tragedies which happened at Ramban, Mendhar, Jammu and other places in 24 hours .
Thakur suggested specialised bone hospital at Batote because of the frequent accidents in this region for the immediate treatment for the injured patients so that more human lives are saved. Singh said there should be independent Judicial probe to pinpoint the responsibilities for the working of Traffic system in the State which is in turmoil and has become another branch of terrorism and responsible for killing of many innocent people on the roadside because of no control of traffic system.
