However, his father and former Union minister Dr Farooq Abdullah advised separatist leaders not to meet  Mr Aziz to allow India and Pakistan to go ahead with talks so that guns remain silent on the Line of Control (LoC) and International Border (IB).

Talking to micro-bloging site Twitter  the Working President of the Opposition National Conference (NC) said whose idea was it to make such a big deal of the Hurriyat-Pak chat These were such non-events before this Govt blew them out of proportion .
In earlier tweet Mr Abdullah taking a jibe at Pakistan for being adamant on inviting separatist leaders for a meeting in the National Capital on the day NSA-level talks are slated between New Delhi and Islamabad, said isn’t this the same Pakistan that forgot how to spell Kashmir in Ufa.
But isn’t this the same Pakistan that forgot how to spell Kashmir in Ufa ConfusedPakPolicy, Mr Abdullah wrote on micro-blogging site Twitter.
At least one country seems firm on something. Is it any wonder that Confused Pak Policy is trending today, Mr Abdullah wrote.
Mr Abdullah was referring to the reports that Pakistan has hardened its stand over meeting leaders from all the factions of Hurriyat Conference in New Delhi on August 23, when NSA-level talks between India and Pakistan are scheduled to be held.          Meanwhile, accusing Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) president and Member of Parliament Mehbooba Mufti of positioning herself to take credit for the release of separatist leaders, he said, Now watch Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed find a scapegoat to blame for the arrest of the Hurriyat leaders.          Serious question – just who is running J&K these days, Mr Abdullah asked.
Mehbooba positioning herself to take credit for the release. Now watch Mufti find a scapegoat to blame for the arrest of the Hurriyat drama, he wrote on Twitter.
So Mehbooba has decided to throw her father under the bus. Can’t say I’m at all surprised, he added.
The NC working president was referring to the reports, which indicated that Ms Mehbooba was behind the release of separatist leaders, who were put under house arrest, a day after they were invited by the Pakistan High Commissioner in New Delhi for a meeting on August 23. (AGENCIES)
