Sena demands proper maintenance of Kol Kandoli temple

JAMMU, Nov 28: Expressing serious concern over the neglect of Kol Kandoli Temple by J&K Government especially its Tourism Department, Shiv Sena J&K unit has urged upon the Government to take due care of the temple which is the first Darshan of Shree Mata Vaishno Devi Ji pilgrimage.
After visiting the sacred place here today, Shiv Sena J&K president, Manish Sahni told reporters that neglect of Kol Kandoli temple has hurt the sentiments of Hindus.
He said that the Goddess in Her childhood used to enjoy swings with her little friends at the place where the temple is situated today having boundary wall with army camp.
On this occasion the Shiv Sena leader constituted Nagrota unit of the party with Rohit Sharma as its president; Sohan Sharma as vice president; Rohit Kumar as general secretary and Vikas Sharma and Shubham Sharma as the secretaries while Satyam Sharma (Mani) and Subhash Sudan as chairmen.
About two dozen youths including Amit Sharma, Jagdish Sharma, Kuldeep Kumar, Devindra Kumar, Bansi Lal, Vajinder Sharma, Mohindra Sharma and others joined Shiv Sena.
Shiv Sena Women Wing president, Meenakshi Chhibber; general secretary, Vikas Bakshi; vice president, Sanjeev Kohli; Balwant Singh, president Workers Wing; Raj Singh, Youth president; Binny Mahajan, vice president; Rajesh Handa, Pawan Singh and Sumit Abrol were also present on this occasion.
