NEW DELHI, Nov 23: Select edible oil remained higher for the third-straight day and prices added up to Rs 150 per quintal at the wholesale oils and oilseeds market today on retailers buying for the ongoing marriage season while non-edible oils held steady in thin trade.
Traders said some retailers buying for the ongoing marriage season mainly led to rise in select edible oil prices.
In the national capital, sesame mill delivery oil advanced by Rs 150 to Rs 11,150 per quintal.
Palmolein (rbd) and palmolein (Kandla) oils increased by Rs 150 each 6,650 and Rs 6,250 per quintal, respectively.
Soyabean refined mill delivery (Indore) and soyabean degum (Kandla) oils traded higher by Rs Rs 100 each to Rs 7,600 and Rs 7,300 per quintal, respectively.

Oilseeds: Mustardseed 2,950-3,050 and Groundnut Seed 2,150-2,900.
Vanaspati Ghee (15-litre tin) 1,160-1,290.
Edible oils: Groundnut Mill Delivery (Gujarat) 8,500, Groundnut Solvent Refined (per tin) 2,000-2,050, Mustard expeller (Dadri) 7,600, Mustard Pakki Ghani (per tin) 1,280-1,360, Mustard Kachi Ghani (per tin) 1,365-1,465, Sunflower 6,300, Sesame Mill Delivery 11,150, Soybean Refined Mill Delivery (Indore) 7,600, Soyabean Degum (Kandla) 7,300, Crude Palm Oil (Ex-Kandla) 5,700, Cottonseed Mill Delivery (Haryana) 6,800, Palmolein (RBD) Rs 6,650, Palmolein (Kandla) 6,250, Rice Bran (phy) 3,800 and Coconut (per tin)1,370-1,420.
Non-edible oils: Linseed 7,050, Mahuwa 4,000, Castor 9,300-9,400, Neem 5,300-5,400, Rice Bran 3,1700-3,270 and Palm Fatty 3,225-3,300.
Oilcakes: Groundnut Dehusk 800-850, Sesame 950-1,150, Mustard (New) 1,000-1,025, Mustard 1,200-1,210 and Cottonseed 1,075-1,175. (PTI)
