JAMMU, Apr 17: Joining hands for more effectively highlighting the demands of School Education cadre employees, different organizations today came together under the banner of School Education Employees Coordination Committee (SEECC-A) with Amar Nath Thakur as its chairman.
Maheshwar Sharma has been elected as vice- chairman, Satish Dutta as State general secretary, Rahul Singh as provincial president, Bharat Bhushan as provincial general secretary and S Parveen Singh as secretary .
State and Provincial bodies of SEECC-A would have 21 office bearers comprising all cadres of School Education Department. O P Katoch (Principal) was nominated as State coordinator while all other State and provincial level office bearers were also elected unanimously.
Talking to media persons after the elections, Amar Nath Thakur highlighted the issues and demands of the School Education employees and informed that the SEECC has already submitted a memorandum of demands of all cadres to the Education Department authorities.
“The regularization of all incharge School Education Officers, Lecturers, RET/KGBV teachers is the long pending demand and we will request the Education Minister and Commissioner Secretary School Education to regularize all incharge officers/Lecturers and RET /KGBV teachers,” he said and added that all kind of co-operation would be extended to Education Department authorities in the best interest of all stake holders to mitigate the problems and fulfill the long pending demands.
He also informed that in a couple of days, newly elected State body of SEECC (A) and ISEOLF would meet Education Minister and Commissioner Secretary School Education to remind them of all pending demands of teaching and non teaching fraternity.
Those were present in the press conference included Maheshwar Sharma (State president of AJKLTF), Dileep Dhar (president of ZEO’s Association), S Surjit Singh (State president Headmasters Forum), Satish Dutta (State president (JKGTF) and others.
