SAMBA, Feb 13: Secretary to Government Department of Culture, Hemant Sharma and District Development Commissioner, Samba, Sheetal Nanda today conducted an extensive tour of village Abtal and Bamboo Chak, Tehsil Ramgarh to take stock of ancient temples and for chalking out a road map for their protection, conservation and renovation.
They were accompanied by Rajneesh Gupta, SDM Vijaypur,Tehsildar Ramgarh, S.M.Saini, Convenor INTACH and other officers.
Later, the DDC also held a public darbar at Janda, village Bhupnergarh where people in large number including Sarpanch, panches and other prominent persons of the area projected their demands and problems mainly pertaining to development of the area.The people of the area represented the DDC for the short supply of drinking water, poor road connectivity, protection wall for pond, proper school facility for their children,playing field and dispensary facilities etc. Trifurcation of the ward for balanced development of panchayat was also been demanded by the inhabitants. The DDC listened them patiently and on spot instructions given to all the concerned officers and directed them to put up suitable proposals so that the demands of the area is redressed.
All district level officers including Chief Education Officer Samba, Chief Medical Officer Samba, Chief Agriculture Officer Samba, Chief Horticulture Officer Samba, Chief Animal Husbandry Officer Samba, Chief Sheep Husbandry Officer Samba, District Social Welfare Officer Samba, BDO Samba(Nud), XEN PWD, XEN PDD, XENPHE, XEN Tubewell, Jammu, XEN Ground Water Jammu, District Officer, JAKEDA, Asstt. Director CAPD, Tehsildar Samba and Naib-Tehsildar Nud a companied her.
