JAMMU, Apr 23: Senior NC leader and former minister Ajay Sadhotra has alleged that PDP-BJP has created atmosphere of mistrust and hatred among the different regions and religions of the State which is very dangerous and unfortunate for the country and the State.
Addressing public gathering at Ranjitpur in Marh Assembly constituency today, Sadhotra said our state which has old tradition of brotherhood is sliding towards a collapse of humanity due to wrong policies and vested interests of PDP-BJP. The gap between regions and religions is widening and PDP-BJP has totally failed to fulfill the genuine aspirations of the people of the State.
The NC leader said that unprecedented sense of insecurity, uncertainty and fear has housed the hearts and minds of common people of the State which is due to petty political interests of the ruling parties and total mis-governance. Seeds of hate, communal divide and polarization will lead to further weakening the state. The Jammu and Kashmir is a very sensitive state passing through turbulence and turmoil since last thirty years.
Former minister said PDP-BJP for the sake of vote politics is dividing the communities and the regions. He said such act of PDP-BJP will weaken our country and the State. He cautioned the ruling parties to desist from dividing the communities and the religions.
“It is high time to defeat the evil and disruptive designs of PDP-BJP in order to make strong India and strong Jammu and Kashmir. The death and destruction will be very disastrous for the people of the State,” he maintained.
