SDM, Tehsildar provide various revenue services to people at doorstep

JAMMU, Mar 30: Sub Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Chowki Choura Virender Gupta along with Tehsildar Dr Raman Jandyal conducted extensive tour of Village Bandraal Khurd.
During visit to the area, it was found that the area is barely connected with the Chowki Choura Sub Division, due to which the inhabitants are facing difficulties in approaching Sub Division and Tehsil Office Chowki Choura as they have to travel 6 to 9 kilometers on foot to reach motorable Jammu Poonch National Highway.
In order to resolve this major issue, a public meeting was conducted to listen grievances of the people and provide revenue services at their doorstep.
The public raised several issues. They demanded RBA status to their area, opening of ITI College at Sub Division Chowki Choura, inter-linking of Bandraal Khurd with Tehsil Chowki Choura from Tallani Morh, extension of PMGSY road from Bandraal Khurd to Ambi Dhanna, construction of a culvert at Ward Number 1 to avoid damage of their houses by rain water, tapping of left over wards, augmentation of existing transformers and restoration of three defunct hand pumps.
During the visit, the accompanying revenue team attested/issued 10 mutations of inheritance, issued 17 copies of Khasra Girdawries and disposed off three EWS certificate files. Land Passbooks were also distributed to all the PRI members.
Later, SDM and Tehsildar visited Ward Number 7 to resolve the issue of tractor road which was illegally blocked. They also inspected various institutions viz Government Health and Wellness Centre, Bandraal Khurd, Government Middle School, Anganwadi Centres and adjoining Ration Depot in order to ensure punctuality and better delivery of services to public of the area.
