SRINAGAR, Oct 2: Sub-District Hospital Vilgam in Handwara area of North Kashmir’s Kupwara district was gutted last night and property worth crores of rupees was destroyed.
The authorities said that the hospital was destroyed in a mysterious blaze last night. All medical equipment including X-ray plant, ultra sound machines and dental equipment and records of the hospital were destroyed in the blaze.
Police have registered a case and investigations have been taken up. The cause of fire is being ascertained.
