JAMMU, Feb 22: Secretary School Education Department has quashed the recent order of District Development Commissioner, Kishtwar, constituting a committee to make proposal for transfer of teachers for his approval before affecting the same.
While revoking the order number DDCK/Edu-47/FY19/17350-55, dated 06-02-2019, the School Education Department has said that said order of the DDC was violative of transfer policy of General Administration Department and the School Education Department.
“Transfer of teachers is the subject matter of School Education Department and are strictly being done as per transfer policy, issued by the GAD vide order number 861-GADE of 2010, dated 28-07-2010 and transfer policy of School Education Department, issued vide Government order number 622-Edu of 2015, dated 22-12-2015,” says the Government order number 75-Edu of 2019, dated 21-02-2019, issued by Secretary School Education, Ajeet Kumar Sahu, adding that in this background, order issued by DDC Kishtwar is hereby rescinded abinitio.
