NEW DELHI: SC to examine former law minister Shanti Bhushan’s plea challenging existing roster practice of allocation of cases by Chief Justice of India.
SC seeks assistance of AG and ASG in dealing with PIL stating that CJI cannot exercise arbitrary power in allocation of cases.
SC refers to its recent verdicts, says it has already held that CJI is ‘master of roster’.
