JAMMU, Dec 19: Supreme Court has stayed the Jammu and Kashmir High Court order debaring Prof N K Resutra from functioning as Chairman of J&K State Board of School Education.
Prof Nutan challenged the order of Division Bench of State High Court by filing Special Leave to Appeal and Supreme Court bench comprising Justice Vikramajit Sen and Justice Prafulla C Pant, after hearing counsels for the petitioner, issued notice.
The Bench ordered that till the next date of hearing, the operation of the impugned order of the High Court shall remain stayed.
Senior Advocate Permod Kohli along with Advocates Shirin Khajuria and Ammu Suresh appeared for the petitioner.
