JAMMU, Dec 19: Grooming Kids Play Way School celebrated its 2nd Annual Day Function with pomp and show at Green View Palace, Kunjwani Road, Bishnah.
Narinder Singh Bali, Special Secretary to J&K Government, was the chief guest while Sulakshna Shavan wife of Rajesh Shavan, Director, Land record and Dev Raj, ZEO, Bishnah, were the guests of honour.
The function was inaugurated by lighting the traditional lamp by the chief guest. The function began with the chanting of mantras followed by ‘Saraswati Vandana’.
The students presented various cultural programmes including ‘Gidda’, group songs, group dances and poems. Children from pre-primary school participated in the fancy-dress competition highlighting the theme ‘Save Wild Life’.
The chief guest presented mementoes to the students, who excelled in various curricular and co-curricular activities.
The programme concluded with vote of thanks by principal of the school, Rekha Sharma.
