JAMMU, Apr 22: An Assistant Book Keeper Training Program of 38 days organized by SBI Rural Self Employment Training Institute (SBI-RSETI) was concluded here today.
In this program, 27 candidates from different parts of Jammu district participated.
During the training, trainees got basic knowledge of computer accounting, Microsoft office, GST, Tally, Busy, etc.
They also got motivated during the training about self employment and entrepreneurship.
On last day of the training program, assessment of the batch also carried out by the EDP Assessor Rajeev Mahajan and Domain Assessor Opinder Kumar, from National Academy of RUDSETI (NAR).
All the candidates were successfully passed out in the assessment.
The certificates of participation were distributed by Ajay Kumar Thapa, Lead District Manager, State Bank of India, Jammu and Seema Pandita I/C, OMCA (Office Management and Computer Application) Department ITI Jammu.
Addressing to the participants, Thapa encouraged the candidates and motivated them to be self employed by using the skill acquired at SBI RSETI Jammu.
He also assured every possible help from his good office for setting up of the self employment venture.
Goja also guided the candidates about Social Security Schemes and other Bank schemes and maintained that various short term skill training programs are being organized at SBI RSETI Jammu like Beauty Parlor, Cutting and Tailoring of Women Garments, Soft Toys Making, Jute Products Making, Mushroom Cultivation and many other training programs with free boarding and lodging facilities which can be availed by the rural unemployed youth of Jammu District.
