SBI donates 42 PPE kits, 48 face shields to Vivekananda Hospital

JAMMU, Feb 19: Under Public Welfare Programme, State Bank of India Gandhi Nagar branch donated 42 PPE kits and 48 face shields to Swami Vivekananda Medical Mission Charitable Hospital.
Bharat Sewashram Sangha branch Panjgrain, Nagrota near here also donated 90 jackets to all the employees of the hospital including para medical staff, nursing orderlies, Safai Karamcharis, security guards etc.
Hospital administration has stated that they look forward to further cooperation of donor organisations.
Meanwhile, Department of Health and Family Welfare has selected Swami Vivekananda Medical Mission Charitable Hospital Ambphalla among the private nursing homes as one of the centres for vaccination of anti-COVID-19 vaccine after proper inspection by the concerned officers which found it suitable for the purpose.
A handout of the Hospital stated that vaccination started at the hospital on January 25, 2021 and as of now, 970 doses have been administered to the registered beneficiaries including health workers and front line workers.
