SBI donates 14 stretchers, 13 wheel chairs for Kathua hospitals

KATHUA, Jan 20: State Bank of India, College road Kathua today donated 14 stretchers and 13 Wheel Chairs in the presence of Deputy Commissioner Kathua Ramesh Kumar to the Chief Medical Officer Kathua B.S. Sharma at Mahatma Gandhi Hospital Kathua in the presence Dr. Trisal and other staff members of the hospital  for distribution in various hospitals of the district.
Gulshan Kumar of SBI College road Kathua welcomed the Deputy Commissioner and other guests while the Lead Bank Officer Talwar J.P Singh informed about the Banks policy of Community service under which such donations are being made.
Branch Manager college road Kathua,  Kumar Jee Raina thanked the Deputy Commissioner for sparing his time and informed that Bank has earlier also donated fans and computers and water filter under the same customer service scheme.  Deputy Commissioner Kathua Ramesh Kumar complimented SBI for such type of donations and advised to provide such facilities to individuals also who need such support.  He also enquired about the Banks other initiatives being made for community purposes.
Earlier also State Bank of India donated 18 stretchers and 20 wheel chairs in various hospitals of the District.  With today’s donations SBI donated 33 Wheel Chairs and 32 stretchers in Kathua Distt.
