JAMMU, Feb 24: A 23 member delegation led by Rajan Kapoor, President Shri Amarnath Yatra Bhandara Organisation (SAYBO) met N. N. Vohra, Governor at Raj Bhavan. The delegation submitted a memorandum and discussed various issues related to Langars, which serve free food to the pilgrims in the Yatra area.
The Governor asked the CEO to look into their suggestions. He asked the Langars to take all required steps for maintaining cleanliness in the Langar premises and at the time of leaving the Yatra area.
Other member of the SAYBO delegation included Romesh Chander, Vijay Prabhakar, Mahant Virender Dass and Amit Sharma.
Navin K. Choudhary, Principal Secretary to Governor and Chief Executive Officer of the Shri Amarnathji Shrine Board, Preet Pal Singh, Additional Chief Executive Officer of the Board and Rajneesh Kumar, Deputy CEO attended the meeting.
