UDHAMPUR, Apr 10: National Conference’s Provincial President of Women Wing, Satwant Kaur Dogra today lashed out at the BJP-led Government at the Centre over rising prices of fuel, alleging that due to the wrong policies of the Government, inflation is sky-rocketing and there is no relief to the poor people.
During an interactive session with office bearers of the party at block Sewna of Udhampur, Satwant listened to the grievances of the women, who apprised the NC leader of their day-to-day problems. They said that PMUY hasn’t been completely effective as poor households find it difficult to pay for and get regular LPG cylinder refills and the monthly budget for food and grocery, including staples, vegetables, fruits and dairy products, was a great concern due to steep price rise.
The program was organized by Udhampur (R) District President of Women Wing V D Surishta while District President Ram Purshottam Sharma was the guest of honour. Provincial Vice President Pushpa Dogra, Rama Gupta and Jagdish Bhardwaj accompanied the Provincial President.
