JAMMU, Aug 20: Senior BJP leader, Former Minister and Ex MLA Jammu West, Sat Sharma (CA), today visited Subash Nagar area of Ward 26 and interacted with locals residing in the area. His main motto was to interact with the masses and know about the problems being faced by them in their respective areas.
Sharma was accompanied by a large number of people including Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC), corporator, Hardeep Singh Mankotia, Mandal president, Atul Bakshi and others and political activists of the area.
Speaking on the occasion, Sharma said that the whole area was extensively toured with locals and a Nullah site was also inspected on which there is a dire requirement of covering the deep drain so that no mishap takes place in the area. He also asked the concerned officials to immediately take up the process of cleaning of Nullah so that a clean and conducive atmosphere could be built in the surroundings.
Sharma stressed upon conducting cleanliness drive in Jammu and also appealed to the masses to come forward in the noble cause so that the dream of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi of building a clean and green nation could be achieved.
Hardeep Singh Mankotia said that several works are in pipeline and they will be taken up in hand in coming days so that best possible infrastructure could be provided to the people at their doorsteps. He also highlighted the works done by former MLA and stated that it has taken the Jammu West to new heights in terms of development.
