CBC’s 3-day Multi-Media Exhibition concludes

POONCH, Aug 20: The three-day Multi Media Exhibition (ICOP) on nine years of Seva Sushasan aur Garib Kalyan, Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat, Mission Life, G-20 Presidency at Base Camp, Shri. Buddha Amarnath Ji Yatra, College Ground, Poonch concluded today.
Narinder Suri, District Nodal Officer, Shri Buddha Amarnath Ji Yatra, Poonch, Parvez Ahmad Khan, Dy CMO Poonch, Ghulam Nabi Mir, Head, AIR, Poonch, attended the concluding function. Ghulam Abbas, Joint Director Central Bureau of Communication J&K, Ladakh presided over the function. The Integrated Communication and Outreach Programme (ICOP) was being organized by Central Bureau of Communication Poonch, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India at the College Ground, Poonch which commenced on August 18.
Narinder Suri, Yatra Nodal Officer and District Education Programme Officer, Poonch said the National Education Policy (NEP 2020) envisions an education system rooted in Indian ethos that contributes directly to transforming India sustainably into an equitable and vibrant knowledge society, by providing high-quality education to all, and thereby making India a global knowledge superpower.
Suri further said, the programme organized by CBC at Poonch is very impressive and effective and it’s utility is multidimensional and beneficial for the people of this area.
Ghulam Abbas, Joint Director, Central Bureau of Communication, J&K, Ladakh in his address said, the Government is working towards the upliftment of the poor in the country through its various Centrally Sponsored Schemes and programmes and the pro-poor schemes of the Government have brought a revolution in the country.
He said these kinds of awareness programmes on the schemes and programmes of Government of India serve the purpose of reaching out to the grass root level deserving poor and needy. He also urged the audience to serve as the ambassadors of spreading the knowledge about the schemes they have gained during the programme.
The Resource Persons of Health, Agriculture, Jal Shakti, Sheep Husbandry and Animal Husbandry Departments Poonch delivered expert lectures on various schemes related to their respective departments.
Stall were put up by ICDS Department, Social Welfare Department, Rural Development Department, Health Department and Jal Shakti Department. The programme and open quiz were conducted by Vijay Mattoo in charge CBC FO Poonch.
