Sat lays foundation of Community Hall in Ward 31

JAMMU, Jan 1: Former Minister, Sat Sharma (CA) today along with Corporator, S. Sucha Singh, Corporator, Jeet Angral and district president, BJP Ayodhya Gupta laid foundation of Puran Community Hall at Puran Nagar in Ward No. 31 of Jammu West Assembly Constituency in the presence of local residents, social and political activists.
The total cost of works is estimated at Rs 9.64 lakh which was sanctioned through Constituency Development Fund (CDF) during former ministers tenure as an MLA.
Addressing the gathering, Sat Sharma (CA) said that the party is committed to work for development of the State and all sections of the society and stressed upon working on the principle of ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas’. He said that there was no community hall in the area and construction of this hall will facilitate the needs of all the communities of the area. After the inauguration, Sharma also listened to the grievances of residents of Ward No. 31 and assured to resolve the issues raised on priority. The former Minister also emphasized on ‘Swachh Bharat Abhiyan’ and said that every citizen should do their part and make their home, ward and surroundings clean and open defecation free.
District president BJP, Ayodhya Gupta while speaking on the occasion said that Jammu West Assembly Constituency has seen a turn around in development activity during BJPs tenure in Government. He said that all major development projects and schemes have been implemented in Jammu West area which includes laying of new water pipes by PHE, giving new sewerage connection to every household by ERA. Gupta said that every party worker is committed to serve the masses.
Both corporators, Sardar Sucha Singh and Jeet Angral along with local residents of Puran Nagar lauded the efforts of former Minister and complimented him for construction of Community Hall in their area.
Keshav Chopra, Suraj Prakash, Pt. Raina, Sahil Sharma, Vishal Sharma, Depak Kumar, Mukund Lal, Subash Chander, Amar Pal Singh, Kartar Chand, Bhushan Gupta and many others were present on the occasion.
