JAMMU, Feb 23: Fulfilling long pending demand of residents of Kabir Nagar area of Ward 40, former State president of BJP and ex Minister, Sat Sharma (CA) along with Corporator of Ward 41 and State secretary BJP, Sanjay Baru, district president, Ayodhya Gupta and Corporator of Ward 40, Neelam Nargotra kick started development works in the area . A large number of people including JMC officials, local residents and political activists of the area were also present on the occasion.
The works will be constructed under the supervision of Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) for which the funds were allotted under Constituency Development Fund (CDF) during former minister’s tenure as MLA of Jammu West Constituency. The works include upgradation of lane 7 by paver tiles near Shiv Mandir, upgradation of lane near Ravi Dass Mandir and reconstruction of damaged side of drain at Lane 10.
Addressing the gathering, Sharma said that massive development works have taken place in all vital sectors to provide enhanced basic amenities to the people of Jammu West Assembly Segment. He said all 26 wards falling under the Jammu West were kept on priority and the overall development of the Constituency shows that every nook and corner has been developed to its fullest and like Prime Minister, Narendra Modi is serving the country with dedication and honesty, every representative of BJP is working on the same lines to provide best possible service to the masses.
Sanjay Baru said that BJP is the only party which is concerned about the development of society in every aspect and is constantly working on one agenda and that is development. He also lauded the efforts of former MLA, Jammu West for taking public tasks on priority and also highlighted the works done in the Ward.
Ayodhya Gupta highlighted the achievements of Narendra Modi led Central Government and schemes launched by it. He also stated that thousands of inhabitants particularly from Jammu West are beneficiaries of the same which has changed lifestyle of many.
Neelam Nargotra complimented the former MLA Jammu West for recommending the installation of new water pipes and the works for construction of the lane.
AEE Gupta, JE SK Arora, district vice president, Puneet Gupta, Raj Kumar, Sushma, Sahil Koul, Sachin, Ravi Kumar, Abhishek and several others were also present on the occasion.
