Sat dedicates water cooler, shed to students

JAMMU, Nov 28: Former Minister and Ex-MLA Jammu West Assembly segment, Sat Sharma (CA) dedicated newly installed water cooler and newly constructed shed for the welfare of girl students in Government Girls Higher Secondary School, Rehari Colony.
Sharma was accompanied by Corporator Ward 24, Anu Bali, State secretary, BJP Praduman Singh, Principal, Rajni Kotwal, members of the School Management Committee, staff and students of the school.
Speaking on the occasion, Sat Sharma said that it was indeed a long pending demand which has been met and it was also brought to his notice by the staff and students of the school that there is an immediate requirement of a water cooler and a properly constructed shed in the school premises so that the requirements of the girls are met. He appreciated the efforts of members of the School Management Committee, Babu Ram Jandyal and Amit Dutta for contributing funds from their personal savings in order to take up these works.
He stated that during his tenure as MLA, he stressed upon changing the infra quality of all schools in Jammu West as there was no proper infra and many construction works were taken up in all the Government schools of Jammu West Assembly segment during his tenure which has changed the infrastructural development and contributed in changing the perception about Government schools. He also stated that youngsters are the future of the country and it is our prime duty to help them in every way possible.
Sanjay Khanna, Urvashi Gupta, Munish Raja, Ravi Kiran, Rajesh Singh Slathia, Sunil Sarmal, Madan Mohan, Joginder, Manohar, Sanjeev and several others were also present.
