DODA, Oct 26: Bringing laurels to the State, especially district Doda, Sarpanch Ashok Kumar Sharma of Drodhu Panchayat from block Bhaderwah got the National Panchayat Award- 2019 at New Delhi from the Union Minister for Rural Development and Panchayati Raj, Narendra Singh Tomar.
He is the only Sarpanch from the State who got this honour. The award has been given by the Ministry of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj , Government of India to 22 Sarpanchs from different states on October 23. He has been honoured for his performance as Sarpanch.
