Sarpanch Chowgam calls on Union Minister of Skill Development

JAMMU, Aug 20: Sarpanch Chowgam-A, in Devsar Assembly segment of South Kashmir’s Kulgam district and BJP leader, Vijay Raina today met Union Minister of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship Program, Dr. Mahendra Nath Pandey in his office chamber at New Delhi.
Sarpanch discussed the launching of Skill Development program in Jammu and Kashmir so that the youth in newly created Union Territory can be skilled as there was no option left for them by the previous Governments to earn their livelihood. “Our youth are talented and need extra care and guidance through skill development programme to stand upon their legs instead of becoming a burden on parents as well as nation”, he added.
He appealed the Minister to issue instructions to the officers to give priority to the J&K youth in taking the advantage of the programme so that they may not lag behind their counter parts in other parts of the country.
The Minister assured the Sarpanch from Kashmir that every step will be taken by his Ministry and Narendra Modi led Government for the development of UT of Jammu and Kashmir.
