Saroori inspects work on Kahara-Trankle bridge

DODA, Sept 26: Pradesh Congress Committee vice president and MLA Inderwal, G M Saroori, visited Kencha, Bitola, Gugara, Goila, Chabba, Batogra, Malanoo, anta, Kahara and Trankle areas of tehsil Kahara of Doda district and interacted with people to know about their problems and directed concerned authorities to complete ongoing works within the timeline schedule.
During the visit MLA specifically enquired about the supply and availability of drinking water, electricity, road and ration facilities in their areas. He expressed concern over PDP-BJP governance deficit in the State and said that the present dispensation has failed to address even problems of basic amenities on ground. He said the only agreed programme in present dispensation is to fill up their coffers. He said the corrupt practices at the top have resulted in the collapse of administration on the ground and the people have been left to bear miseries for want of their rights. He also inspected the pace of work on Rs 1.50 crore Kahara-Trankle bridge being constructed there and directed immediate completion of the bridge. He was informed that the bridge would be completed by June next year.
Saroori also announced construction of road from Tanta to Draman Kota which has been prioritized for CRF funding during next financial year. On way to Tanta, general public complained over the less width of Kahara-Tanta road than the prescribed norms and demanded enquiry into the construction work of the road.
A large number of deputations from various areas met the MLA and apprised him of their problems and put forth their demands.
