Saraf demands ‘White Paper’ on displacement of Kashmiri Pandits from valley

SRINAGAR, Apr 23: Rashtriya Lok Jan Shakti Party has demanded ‘White Paper’ on displacement of Kashmiri Pandits from the valley.
Addressing a press conference, National General Secretary of Rashtriya Lok Jan Shakti Party Sanjay Saraf demanded the setting up of a commission to find out the motives behind the killings of innocent Pandits, Sikhs and Muslims.
He advised the rulers of that time that they should collectively apologize to Pandits, Muslims and Sikhs. He said 3.5 to 4 lakh Kashmiri pandits all over world have been demanding justice and punishment for those involved in this heinous crime.
Describing the resettlement of Kashmiri Pandits as a humanitarian issue, Saraf said that it is important to understand the plight of Kashmiri Pandits and how they, along with their young children and elders, had to endure hardships in other regions far from their homeland.
He demanded adequate accommodation for the employees posted under the Prime Minister’s packages in Valley.
“Prime Minister’s visit will prove fruitful and more avenues would be paved for progress and development in Jammu and Kashmir”, he said and hoped that the PM Modi would announce a comprehensive package keeping in view the present situation of Jammu and Kashmir, so that educated youth will get employment.
Saraf demanded immediately release pending salaries of daily wagers before Eid. He also demanded availability of electricity and water during Sehri and Iftiyar in the ongoing month of Ramadan.
