NEW DELHI: More than two decades after creating a buzz with their chemistry in the romantic song ‘Akhiyan Milaon Kabhi Akhiyan Churaon’ in the film ‘Raja’, actor Sanjay kapoor and the 90s Bollywood diva Madhuri Dixit will reunite for the in ‘classic’ romantic number in Star Plus’ new show ‘Dil Sambhal Jaa Zara’. The magic of the song will be recreated on the small screen soon, sources associated with Star Plus said. Sources said that the producers of the show will be shooting for the sequence with Madhuri in a few days. ”She has been rehearsing with us and it is so much fun seeing Sanjay and Madhuri reunite on this song. It is a nostalgic moment for us and the actors too,” they said. The song , ‘Akhiyan Milaon Kabhi Akhiyan Churaon’ , featured in the 90s film ‘Raja’, had created a lot of buzz among cinegoers. Film lovers still remember the magic created by the song, that was shot in the vintage car around which Sanjay Kapoor and Madhuri Dixit romanced. Sanjay Kapoor, who is seen donning the role of a very handsome Anant Mathur in Star Plus’ ‘Dil Sambhal Jaa Zara’ , has evoked lot of praise for his acting skills and a charismatic voice. Sources reveal that on the occasion of his wedding, show runner Vikram Bhatt who is making his production debut with this show, has invited co-actor and friend Madhuri Nene to shake a leg during the wedding sangeet.
