JAMMU, June 12: Chairman of Healthy India Stronger India (HISI), Hira Lal Abrol today launched a special sensitization drive to aware people and sanitized religious places of the city which are frequently visited by the people.
The sanitization drive was carried out at Radha Krishan Mandir, Gadadhari Mandir, Bhairavnath Mandir; Ram Mandir, Shiv Mandir and Police Station in Panjtirthi and Shiv Mandir and Shiv Shakti Mandir along with Mubarak Mandi Complex; Mahalakshmi Mandir of Pacca Danga and Gurudwara Baba Chanda Singh at Jain Bazar.
During the drive, the activists also distributed pamphlets, masks and sanitizers to visitors along with books and stationary items among the needy children and motivated them to continue their studies without any hindrance.
The chairman interacted with the people and discussed about the importance of timely COVID vaccination and its procedures. Members of the HISI namely Dalbir Singh, Paramjit Singh, Ramneek Sharma, Derwari Lal Verma, Akhil Sharma, Raj Kumar Sharma and many other were present during the drive.
It is pertinent to mention here that the Healthy India, Stronger India is an NGO, founded by its chairman, Hira Lal Abrol with a motive to run a ‘Free Training Centre’ for skill development of needy and poor children from BPL families in discipline of basic computers; cutting & tailoring classes; beautician course, vocal music and dance.
