Sandra Bullock to receive Desert Palm Award

LOS ANGELES, Nov 16:  “Gravity” star Sandra Bullock will be awarded the Desert Palm Award at the Palm Springs International Film Festival (PSIFF).

“Throughout the entire film, her determination to survive is masterfully portrayed To this consummate performer who continues to captivate audiences with her artistry, it is our honour to present the 2014 Desert Palm Achievement Award, Actress, to Sandra Bullock,” Matzner added.
In receiving the award, Bullock is following the footsteps of actresses like Halle Berry, Marion Cotillard and Anne Hathaway. (PTI)
