Jammu, May 10: Samprati a socio cultural organization based at Jammu of displaced artists writers poets actors and writers today organized a unique programme of monologue with vetran artist P.L.Handoo who mesmerized the audience with his mimicry voice modulation dialogue delivery and potraying his thoughts convincingly before a grand audience at K L Sehgal Hall, Jammu.
The presidium of this session was attended by Dr.R L Bhat, P L Handoo, P N Koul Sayil and J N Saagar.
Speaking on the occasion P.N.Koul Sayil talked about the services of vetran actor in the field of monologues radio and theatre artist spreading his great contribution in this field over last seven decades.He assured the audience that his book will shortly be launched.
This was followed by second session of multilingual mushaira which was presided by P N Koul Sayil and J N Saagar. A galaxy of poets who recited their kalaams were Aagosh Arigami, Prem Nath Prem, Kundan Paaras, Jai Krishen Aakash, Omkar Rana, J N Saagar, Rajkumari, T N Vishwas, B N Abilash, K L Pardesi, R L Bhat, Pradeep Khudbali, Mahraj Krishen Maharaj, Kanwar Lal Ticku, B L Arpan, Shyam Bihari, Ashok Gowhar, Shiban Khaibri, J L Jawhar, A K Zadu, Rattan Lal Rattan, Ratna Anzaan, A K Naz, R L Saraf, Kusum Dhar, Santosh Naadan , Vijay Wali, Virender Rawal and P N Koul Sayil.
The programme proceedings were conducted by Dr.R L Saraf. Kundan Paaras secretary Samprati presented the vote of thanks and promised many a programmes in future through Samprati.
The programme was attended by various greats from the field of literature music and fine arts which included B L Saraf (retired Session Judge), linguist Dr. R L Shant and Dr.P N Trisal, painter Gokul Dembi, Hira Lal Bhat, B L Handoo, Pran Pandit, Autar Hugami, Sarla Handoo Kala, Dr.B N Kalla, Virender Raina, Chandershekhar, Tej Krishen Handoo, Shiban Handoo, Rajender Kaul, and Dr.Pushpa Saraf.
