JAMMU, Dec 9: Kashmiri Bhasha evam Samskriti Pratishtan Samprati held a Hansi Kavi Samelan (a humorous poetic symposium) at K L Sehgal Hall here today where the poets recited their humorous poems best to the taste of audience.
The poets who recited their poems included Rajinder Aagosh, Ashok Gowhar, Raj Kumar Razdan, Bimla Aima, Kunal Koul Kundan, S N Veer, A K Zadoo, Brij Hali, Soom Nath Sanam, P N Bhat, B N Abilash, B L Arpan, Vijay Wali, Ghulam Hassan Nadeem, Dr Roshan Saraf (Rosh-e-Rosh) and Kanwal Peshin.
The welcome address was read by president Samprati, Dr P N Trisal while Dr R L Bhat said the hard work done by Samprati in promoting new and budding poets needs to be acknowledged.
The proceedings were conducted by Dr Roshan Saraf while Prof H L Misri proposed the vote of thanks.
