SAMBA, June 1: Continuing its drive against illegal mining, Samba police has seized four vehicles in the jurisdiction of Police Station (PS) Samba which were being used for illegal transportation/mining of the construction material.
Police said its teams headed by SHO PS Samba, in charge Police Posts (PP), Rakh Amb Talli and Goran of PS Samba while performing patrolling duty in their jurisdictional areas have seized one dumper bearing Registration Number JK02AT-6287, a tractor trolley bearing Registration Number, JK21L-9285 and two tractor trolleys without number which were being used for illegal transportation/mining of the construction material in the area.
Police said all the vehicles have been seized by Samba Police and handed over to the Geology & Mining Department, Samba for further legal action.
