SAMBA, Feb 12: On the directions of SSP Samba, Benam Tosh, police have seized four more vehicles which were being used for illegal mining in district Samba today.
Police teams comprising of SHO, Police Station (PS) Ghagwal, Vijay Verma, SHO Police Station Purmandal, Hardev Singh and in charge Police Post, Goran PSI, Maneesh Sharma under the supervision of Dy.SP, Headquarters, Samba, Mohammad Usman, SDPO Bari-Brahmana, Rahul Nagar and Additional SP Samba, Surinder Choudhary have seized four vehicles for illegal mining in their respective jurisdictions.
The seized vehicles included dumper bearing Registration Number, JK21J-1897, dumper bearing Registration Number JK21F-1897, Tractor-Trolley bearing Registration Number, JK21H-1944 and a Tractor-Trolley without registration number.
Total 10 vehicles have been seized within one week for illegal mining by Samba Police after launching drive against illegal mining in the district under the guidance of Senior Superintendent of Police, Benam Tosh.
