Samba police launches drive against violators of traffic rules

SAMBA, July 5: Sanjeev Chib, SHO Samba on the directives of SSP Samba, Joginder Singh and other police officers of the district Police Samba started a drive against traffic violations in the area.
According to a police handout on very first day total 329 violators were booked under M.V Act like overloading, overspeed, without D/L, crash helmets and also seized some vehicles without documents.
The police said the main objective of the drive is to aware the general public and youths regarding traffic rules  like wearing a helmet, avoiding overtaking, control over  speed, avoiding triple riding etc.
Samba police also launched an awareness campaign  among the public for not giving vehicles to the minors. SSP Samba has also appealed to general public to obey traffic rules to save human losses. He said that drive against the traffic violations will continue.
