Samba Police arrests militant with revolver, fake currency

SAMBA, Sept 8: Samba Police today arrested a militant from a guest house here and recovered a US made revolver with four rounds and fake currency having the face value of Rs 8000 from him.
According to SSP Samba Anil Magotra,  on the basis of intelligence inputs that two suspects have hired a room at Shivam Guest House on Jammu-Pathankote National Highway at Samba Chowk a raid was conducted by a police party led by SHO Samba, Ravinder Parihar under the supervision of Vijaypal Singh DY SP Headquarter Samba. The police arrested one militant Innas Ali, son of Hashim Ali of Dablong Police Station, Lanka, Sub Division Hojal District Nagaon, Assam and recovered fake currency having face value of Rs 8,000/ and US made revolver with four rounds from his possession.
The SSP said his another accomplice Raju Dass had fled from the guest house before the Police raid early in the morning.
The Samba Police has launched man hunt to arrest him also, he said, adding Police has registered a FIR No 156/2014 under section 489-C RPC, 3/25 Arms Act against him.
The arrested militant has been put to sustained interrogation.
