SAMBA, Dec9: Continuing its drive against the absconders and criminals, district Police Samba today apprehended an absconder wanted in case FIR No. 01/2014 U/S 188 RPC registered at P/S Ghagwal.
A police team of Police Station, Ghagwal headed by SHO Ghagwal, Inspector, Sudhir Sadhotra under the supervision of Dy.SP. Headquarters, Samba, Tilak Raj Bhardwaj arrested an absconder namely Billa, S/o Gaia R/O Murlichack, Rakh Sarkar, Hiranagar from Rajpura, Ghagwal who was on run for the last five years after commission of crime.
Accordingly, the absconder was produced in the court of law and send to Sub- Jail Hiranagar. Arrest warrant 512 CrPC issued against him got executed by the police.
