UDHAMPUR, Dec 9: Thieves struck eight shops situated at Panjar to Mongri road, within a distance of around 7 kms at tehsil Mongri, here last night and decamped with cash and some other items.
Reports said that the thieves broke open the shutter of eight shops, onward by Mahinder Singh, Daler Singh, both resident of Kalsot and Santosh, Suram Chand, Lahar Singh, Hushyar Singh all of Panjar, Kartar Singh and Anchal Singh.
On being informed, a Police team from Police station Pancheri reached the spot and started investigation after registration of a case in this regard.
